Entertainment

Revolution Place

At the heart of downtown is Revolution Place, an entertainment venue comprised of two main sections: the Bowes Family Gardens and Revolution Arena. The Bowes Family Garden, an 18,000 square foot banquet or meeting space, remains an ideal venue to host major fundraisers, gala events, banquets and balls. Likewise, the Revolution Arena – a 3,228 seat multi-purpose arena – attracts performers across North America, including Keith Urban, Rihanna, Backstreet Boys and Elton John. The Revolution Arena is also home to Grande Prairie’s own AJHL hockey team, the Grande Prairie Storm.

Art in the Alley

Grande Prairie houses some remarkable talent. To showcase these talented artists we developed Art in the Alley, a truly urban exhibition of local creativity. For two months during the summer of 2019, featured artists unveiled their stunning creations in various spots throughout the city centre.

To see all the amazing artwork, take a stroll through the heart of Grande Prairie and see how much heart our artists truly have.
