🎃 2025 Halloween Spooktacular 👻
Hosted by the Grande Prairie Downtown Association & the City of Grande Prairie
Get ready for a frightfully fun day for the whole family at this year’s Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, October 25th, from 11 AM – 3 PM at Bonnetts Energy Centre and throughout Downtown Grande Prairie!
Kick off the celebration at Bonnetts Energy Centre from 11 AM – 1 PM with a jam-packed lineup of spooky activities, including:
✨ A costume contest for kids 12 and under – show off your most creative, funny, or spooky looks!
👻 A thrilling haunted house for those who dare to enter.
🌭 A free hot dog lunch
🎲 Fun family activities and games for kids of all ages.
📸 A festive photo booth by Snapshot Studios to capture all your spooktacular memories.
Then, from 1 PM – 3 PM, grab your candy bags and head into Downtown Grande Prairie for trick-or-treating! Local businesses will be ready with goodies for all the little ghosts, ghouls, and superheroes.
This event is free to attend and perfect for families looking to celebrate Halloween in a safe, fun, and community-focused way.

Calling All Downtown Businesses – Join the 2025 Halloween Spooktacular!
The Grande Prairie Downtown Association and the City of Grande Prairie invite you to take part in this year’s Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, October 25th, 2025. This family-favourite event draws hundreds of families downtown each year and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business while being part of a fun, community tradition.
Here’s how your business can get involved:
Event Schedule
- 11 AM – 1 PM | Bonnetts Energy Centre
Families will enjoy a costume contest, haunted house, free hot dog lunch, and activities. Businesses can register to host a table/booth inside Bonnetts, where you can hand out candy and/or branded swag to families. - 1 PM – 3 PM | Downtown Trick-or-Treating
The traditional trick-or-treat parade will run along the usual route, but this year any business—whether on the route or not—can participate! Simply register as a trick-or-treat stop, and we’ll advertise your location on social media and on a printed map.
Benefits for Participating Businesses
- All registered businesses will be promoted on our social media and included on the official trick-or-treat map.
- Candy subsidy: more information will be available upon registration
How to Participate
Businesses must register by October 15th, 2025 to be included as either:
- A Trick-or-Treat Destination at your location, OR
- A Table/Booth Host at Bonnetts Energy Centre.
