Santa and the Annual Christmas Tree Light-Up

We are excited to extend a warm invitation to our annual Christmas Tree Light-Up event, happening on Sunday, November 26th, at Bonnetts Energy Centre – starting at 4:00 pm.
In partnership with the City of Grande Prairie, we’ve curated a memorable evening for our community. Join us for the magical Christmas Tree Light-Up ceremony, where the tree’s illumination will cast a festive spell upon all in attendance. Our carolers, Christmas characters and sled dogs will welcome you with beloved holiday tunes, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. And, of course, what’s a holiday celebration without hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes?
Capture the spirit of the season with a special photo opportunity alongside the one and only Santa Claus.
Following the tree lighting, the much-anticipated “Battle of the Badges” returns at 6:00 pm—a thrilling hockey game featuring our community’s bravest, with admission by donation. We’re proud to announce that all proceeds from the game will be directed towards supporting Sunrise House, a noble cause close to our hearts.
