Santa and the Annual Christmas Tree Light-Up (Tentative Date)

We are excited to extend a warm invitation to our annual Christmas Tree Light-Up event, happening on Sunday, December 1st (Tenitive Date), at Bonnetts Energy Centre – starting at 4:00 pm.
In partnership with the City of Grande Prairie, we’ve curated a memorable evening for our community. Join us for the magical Christmas Tree Light-Up ceremony, where the tree’s illumination will cast a festive spell upon all in attendance. Our carolers, Christmas characters and sled dogs will welcome you with beloved holiday tunes, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. And, of course, what’s a holiday celebration without hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes?
Capture the spirit of the season with a special photo opportunity alongside the one and only Santa Claus.
Following the tree lighting, the much-anticipated “Battle of the Badges” returns at 6:00 pm—a thrilling hockey game featuring our community’s bravest, with admission by donation. We’re proud to announce that all proceeds from the game will be directed towards supporting an organization close to our hearts.
